Shixin (Alice) Zhang

Shixin (Alice) Zhang is a composer and songwriter. She earned her bachelor's degree in Electronic Music Production and composition from the Communication University of China and her master's degree in Film Scoring from the Jacobs School of Music. She has created a wide range of original music for films, television series, animations, and video games.
In addition to her work as a film composer, Shixin is also a successful independent musician, having gained significant attention and streams across various online platforms. She is a member of the Electronic Music Association of China (EMAC), the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL), and the Alliance for Women Film Composers (AWFC). Her work has been internationally recognized, including receiving the Excellent Music Composition award at the San Francisco New Concept Film Festival.
As a composer and musician with a global perspective, Shixin is committed to discovering and reimagining the intangible musical heritage of different countries and cultures. Through innovative approaches and close collaboration with musicians and cultural practitioners from around the world, she strives to bring these valuable sonic traditions onto the international stage with renewed, contemporary expression.

Many of them have been deeply involved in the film television, game, and music industries for years, with extensive hands-on experience in creative and production work.
Our collaborators span multiple countries and regions, covering fields such as film, music, gaming, and higher education. Some team members have previously worked at or contributed to projects with well-known companies like Tencent and BabyBus, enriching the team with broad industry insights and practical expertise. In addition, we have engaged in collaborations with domestic and international institutions and organizations dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of intangible musical heritage, continuously exploring new possibilities at the intersection of tradition and contemporary expression in a cross-cultural context.
